To simplify the main structure of the big question “How do you work?” It can be broken down into 3 main stages. Each stage can be quoted upon and completed or one particular stage can be carried out independently. It may be some bespoke wardrobes or a complete house renovation complete with Kitchen and Bathrooms, it’s the same process.

Stage 1: Site survey - we will carry out a site survey to obtain further information detailed from an initial brief over the telephone or via email. This gives us a clearer idea of what we are exactly quoting upon and saves time and money later on. We can also work off plan if the space is not yet built.

Stage 2: Design & Procurement - Upon our site survey we will construct a quotation for the design work and also include the pricing to procure all the materials and products needed for installation. You can order through us saving time and logistically running around and also benefit on cost saving through trade discounts we can offer, a win win scenario. Overall saving time headaches and achieving the specific product and materials we envisage.

Stage 3: Installation - You may already have your contractor(s) appointed or you may prefer for us to take full responsibility of the project and instruct our years of project management and experience to get everything installed on schedule, with good communication and within budget. Upon us being appointmented and you being happy with the quoted costing we will always send over a detailed gantt chart schedule, detailing every stage of the build or installation.

We always will supply a schedule to keep on-time and everyone focused.

we work…

Interior consultation is key to defining how a space is used and how it will make you and others feel. The following breakdown gives information to how we normally work and hopefully help you decide if it is something you would need.

1 INITIAL CONSULTATION: This is a stage where giving focus and options to define the brief is essential for the client. This stage allows for the client to be informed on what is possible, how to focus their ideas and for later design proposals and research to be carried out.

2 CONSULTING FOR DEVELOPMENT AND FINALISING A PROJECT: We are often brought in when a client has the initial information or has an idea of what is to be achieved. Usually the brief and initial ideas have been applied and the finer details or more defined design concept needs to be communicated, so the brief meets the:

▪ Budget

▪ Intended aesthetic for the end user or brand

▪ Technical and practical requirements

▪ Time schedule

3 QUICK CONSULTING: We often have clients who may need advice and price guidance for a room or a component, for example a bespoke piece of furniture, re-upholstery of a chair or advise on a lighting configuration. We are happy to price a small project (please note some specialist site surveys require a small consultation fee, please email for more details).

Design

We have a number of services by which we use to communicate design so this information can be used to achieve just what we and the client can anticipate. Below details our design communication services.

SERVICES: LAYOUT & PLANNING

▪ LAYOUT: Spacial design is essential for achieving amazing results. Its the core of how a room is practically used, aesthetically looks and the way by which it makes you feel. Good design will achieve the results the brief has set out. With creative know-how and our specialists, we have the core to “get it right” resulting in a stand back “wow” end result.

▪ MOOD & CONCEPT BOARDS: mood and concept boards incorporate samples, key imagery, sketches, and sometimes layout. They can be used to aid the confirmation of the design concept, confirmation of particular elements, make sense of focal areas, key elements, and to excite with proposed fabrics, colours and finishes.

▪ VISUALISATIONS: Sometimes it can be hard to mentally visualise a space off-plan! Do not worry this is why 3D visualisations can be brilliant! They can create realistic imagery of a space, give scale and meaning to widths and heights which can be hard to appreciate off-plan. They are also a great way to see how particular details, materials and lighting will aesthetically work together. 3D visuals can be used on large scale projects as well as smaller bespoke furniture brief.

LIGHTING DESIGN: Is a specialist area and we have the professionals onboard to assist. Plans and layouts can be drawn up as well as technical specifications which are great to have for the electrical engineers upon first fix installation.

Procurement can be carried out with or without design work, this is the stage where we bring experience, our vast number of great suppliers and negotiation skills to the table. This stage is the sourcing of goods and services. We do our best to meet the appropriate needs of the purchaser considering all the following factors for the best results:

1 COST

2 QUALITY

3 QUANTITY

4 TIME

5 LOCATION

6 ENVIRONMENT

Procurement often saves the client money and time. As a design practice we pass on discounts to our clients. We have built up good working relationships with our suppliers to give us good discounts with this in mind we all gain business and our clients are happy.

Install

We have three teams of contractor teams ready to schedule your job in and work closely alongside. Dependent of the specific brief we can advise appropriately.

We also have specific craftsmen for specific jobs, if that be fine joinery work, curtain making, or maybe you need a new dining table designed because you’ve been looking for months and just cant find The One!

We can of course work alongside already appointed contractors and can advise and be onsite where appropriate.

For any further details needed or for us to discuss a project please do not hesitate to CONTACT.

We look forward to hearing from you, Clare & Crispin.
